Paul Müller Zürich
(actually Paul Müller; born June 19, 1898 in Zurich, † July 21, 1993 in Lucerne) was a Swiss composer.

He studied with Philipp Jarnach and Volkmar Andreae at the Zurich Conservatory, then with Jean Batalla in Paris. From 1927 to 1968 Müller-Zürich was a music theory teacher at the Zurich Conservatory. His students included a. the composer Hermann Haller and Franz Tischhauser (composer). As a teacher, conductor, composer and organizer, he was one of the most important figures in Swiss musical life in the 20th century.
In 1953 he was awarded the City of Zurich Music Prize. In 1958 he received the composition award of the Swiss Tonkünstlerverein, of which he became president in 1960. The Louisville Philharmonic Society in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, commissioned him in 1954 to compose a cello concerto, which was published as part of the orchestra's record subscription series.
Paul Müller-Zürich's estate is kept in the music department of the Zurich Central Library.
