[독일] Anton Fils

 

Anton Fils (also Antonín Fils, Johann Anton Fils, Johann Anton Filtz),

22 September 1733 (baptized) – 14 March 1760 (buried) was a German classical composer.

 

( 독일 고전파 작곡가.하이든보다 1년 늦게출생하여  27세의 나이에 요절. 하이든은 77세까기 살았다. 

 

Fils was born in Eichstätt, in the Bishopric of Eichstätt. Long thought to have been of Bohemian origin (e.g., Racek 1956), despite having been described as "from Bavaria" by Friedrich Wilhelm Marpurg in 1756, his true origins were discovered in the 1960s (Wolf 2001). Fils studied law and theology at the University of Ingolstadt, and in 1754 became part of the "Mannheimer Hofkapelle" as a cellist. The Mannheim orchestra at the time was led by Johann Stamitz (Würtz & Wolf 2001). In 1757 Fils married Elizabeth Range, and in 1759 the couple bought a house.

 

 

 

(원래 독일 태생이고 1756년에 Friedrich Wilhelm Marpurg 란 인물이 독일 바바리아 출신이라고  말했는데도 오랫동안 보헤미아 출신으로 알려져 있었고  진짜 출생지는 1960년에 이르러서야 밝혀졌다.

Ingolstadt대학에서 법과 법이론을 공부했고 21세이던 1754년에 첼리스트로 Mannheimer Hofkapelle의 단원이 되었다. 당시 만하임 악단은 Johann Stamitz 가

이끌고 있었다. 24세이던 1757년에 Elizabeth Range란 여성과 결혼을 했고 26세이던 1759년에 집도 장만했다.

 

 

 

Even though he died at only age 26, he left an extensive body of work, including at least thirty-four symphonies and about thirty concertos, mainly for cello and for flute, though only about half have survived. (불과 26세에 사망했으나 교향곡 34곡. 첼로와 훌륫을 위한 협주곡 30여곡을 포함한 많을 곡을 작곡했고  이중에 절반정도가 현전한다.)

 

 

 

Fils died in Mannheim.(만하임에서 사망)

 

 

 

His music was mostly forgotten before being rediscovered in the 21st century.
