Max Bruch
(6 January 1838 – 2 October 1920), also known as Max Karl August Bruch,
was a German Romantic composer and conductor who wrote over 200 works, including three violin concertos, the first of which has become a staple of the violin repertory.
Serenade in A minor for violin and orchestra, Op. 75 (composed Cologne, 1899 August)
The work has four movements, and takes approximately 35 to 40 minutes to perform:
- Andante con moto
- Allegro moderato, alla marcia
- Notturno
- Allegro energico e vivace
