Algot Haquinius - String Quartet No.1 in A-minor (1928)

Algot Haquinius

(July 13, 1886, Sveg – February 6, 1966, Stockholm)

was a Swedish pianist and composer of classical music. He was born in Sveg.

Among his works are string quartets, a piano concerto, solo piano music, romances and orchestral suites. His music is often described as impressionistic.

 String Quartet No.1 in A-minor (1928)

1st movement begun in 1916 (revised in the 1920s), the entire quartet completed in 1928
