Leopold Kozeluch - Concerto for Piano 4 Hands

Leopold Koželuh

(26 June 1747/영조23년 – 7 May 1818/순조8년)

was a Czech composer and teacher of classical music. He was born in the town of Velvary,

in Bohemia (present-day Czech Republic).

Leopold Koželuch was an esteemed contemporary of Mozart, and in many circles considered the finer

composer and an early champion of the fortepiano.
In 1792 he succeeded Mozart as Kammer Kapellmeister and Hofmusik Compositor to Emperor Franz II

1and remained in that post until his death in 1818.
