(이삭) 이그나즈 모셀레스(1794-1870)는 오스트리아제국의 보헤미아 출신인 작곡가 겸 피아노의 거장(Virtuoso)이었다.  주로 런던에서 활동하였으나 그 이후에는 라이프치히에서 멘델스존의 뒤를 이어 라이프치히음악원장으로 활동했다. 멘델스존은 모셀레스의 친구 겸 피아노 제자였다.[Ignaz Moscheles (23 May 1794 – 10 March 1870) was a Bohemian composer and piano virtuoso, whose career after his early years was based initially in London, and later at Leipzig, where he succeeded his friend and sometime pupil Felix Mendelssohn as head of the Conservatoire.]
