                조니 호튼은 1953년 1월 1일 사망한 컨트리 가수

                   행크 윌리엄스(Hank Williams)'의 미망인인 

                빌리 진 존스 (Billie Jean Jones)'와 1953년 9월 결혼하여 두딸을 두었으나 

                   1960년 11월 5일 스카이라인 클럽(Skyline Club)에서 

               공연을 마친 후 집으로 돌아오다가

                 ' 79번 도로(Highway 79)'에서 음주 운전자의 차량과 충돌하여 짧은 생을 마감하였다.
