 (Zutphen, 12 September 1868 – Salzburg, 7 December 1933)

 Dutch-Austrian composer who came from a long line of Dutch organists and

composers of protestant church music.

Piano Concerto Op. 15, in F major, written in 1897.

This concerto (published in 1899) displays well-bred eclecticism of the late-Romantic period in Germany. The first and last movements are symphonic, containing much thematic work in the orchestra.

It won the Bösendorfer prize for composition, and is dedicated to "Herrn Ludwig Bösendorfer in Wien".
