British composer William Sterndale Bennett is probably better known for his commercially available

recorded Op.43, Symphony in g minor (1863-64). This Symphony No. 5 (no opus number) is sometimes confused with that later g minor work.

It has been noted on the internet that over half of Bennett's works have been recorded on CD, but I have had some difficulty in finding most of them. This upload was from the collection of the late British collector John Carter and is taken from a British broadcast of some years ago
